High Resolution Aerial Inspections
Through the years, we have perfected our collection and deliverable process. In 2022, we tested and upgraded most of our high kV inspection equipment with Phase One cameras to provide the best quality data to our clients. The results? Absolutely worth it! Hover over the image to see for yourself.
High resolution aerial images provide greater clarity and allow inspectors to zoom into every part of the structure in a single image. Gone are the days where inspectors must look through an entire image deck to identify where a zoomed in photo was taken from. With high resolution aerial imagery, simply zoom out.
Vegetation Encroachment & Corridor Mapping
Drone LiDAR has proven to be an effective way for utilities to monitor vegetation encroachment.
In our post-process, we classify point clouds with the colors green, yellow, orange, and red provide easy to visualize, pin point data for monitoring and trimming vegetation. In the example video orange represents vegetation 10-20 feet away from the power lines, and red shows less than 10 feet.
